Do you sometimes feel like you need space the size of a continent for your sewing needs? Our Aussie may not be the size of the Australian continent, but it is close!

Our Aussie boasts an amazing 31.5 square feet of sewing space.  When fully opened with quilt leaf and rolling caddy extended the Aussie is 99-1/2” wide by 80-1/2” deep.

Don’t let these measurements scare you!  When the quilt leaf is folded down and the rolling caddy is tucked under, the Aussie measures 99-1/2” wide x 22” deep.

With so much surface area the Aussie is ideal for quilting or large sewing projects. The large surface space also means you have plenty of room for multiple sewing machines or sergers.

The rolling caddy can be placed in 2 separate locations on the front of the cabinet and it tucks neatly away when not in use.

The lift mechanism moves your sewing machine up and down in 3 separate positions and is adjustable for all heights of machines. (See the Assembly Manual tab for a PDF file explaining how to adjust the lift mechanism.)

The wide room in front of the lift allows the sewer to sit comfortably in the correct center needle sewing position. A free chair, pictured in the Aussie photo gallery above is included with your purchase of Aussie.

The quilt leaf extension on the back of the cabinet comes with your Aussie and helps to expand your work area, preventing large quilts from falling on the floor behind the cabinet.

Last but certainly not least, your Aussie features two drawers, a large door bin, and four swivel trays for storage of all your sewing notions and boomerangs.

When your sewing is complete, safely conceal and secure all your sewing notions and equipment by closing both doors and turning the key to lock them shut.

• Aussie Closed Dimensions: 49-3/4" wide x 22" deep (front to back) x 30" tall
• Aussie Open Dimensions: 99-1/2" wide x 45-1/2" deep (front to back) x 29" tall
• Caddy Dimensions: 34-1/2" wide x 15" deep x 27-1/2" tall (cubby is 13" wide x 14" deep x 13" tall)
• The opening and platform of the cabinet will accommodate sewing machines that are no larger than:
  • 23-1/2" wide (left to right)
  • 12-1/4" deep (front to back)*
  • 13-7/8” tall*

*Please measure your machine and include knobs, plugs, etc. that extend beyond the body of machine.

The machine fits the platform of the cabinet in flatbed position (a custom insert is available) but you will have to move the sewing machine from right to left to lower into the storage position because of the extension of the front support leg of the machine. Also the knee lifter lever cannot be used with a sewing cabinet due to the length of the lever and how machine sits on the platform in flatbed position.
