Do you have a beautiful strip roll or leftover 2 1/2" strips from making binding? Here is a creative way of using these strips! Laurie will take you through the process of making a "jelly roll" rug in an oval or rectangular shape. This class is great for all skill levels of sewist.
Supply List
-Jelly Roll rug pattern
-Sewing Machine in good working order
-Size 100 Microtex, Denim, or Topstitch sewing machine needle
-One jelly roll or 42 2 1/2" strips cut by the width of the fabric
-2 25 yard or 1 50 yard roll of 2 1/2" Batting- on- A-Roll
-50-40 weight cotton thread. Can be a solid color for piecing and a variegated thread for putting your rug together.

-A small basket to put your rug in as you make it.
-Scissors or thread snips
-A small ruler
-Marking pen or chalk
