Modern Fabric Art Bowls with Kirsten Fisher



Are you interested in learning how to make an easy project in just an afternoon? These decorative Modern Fabric Art Bowls by Kristen Fisher make great gifts and can be made in various sizes. You will learn how to make these bowls using different techniques such as a 9-patch quilt block or 4 triangles. They can also be made by using up leftover quilt blocks or scraps. We will be using a rotary cuter and quilter's ruler. No other quilting skills are required.

Sewing supplies are available for purchase at Sew Right.

Quilt Bowl Corner Template: Available at Sew Right

Peltex 72 : 2 pieces 20" x 20"

Nonstick Ironing Surface.

It can be either a Goddess sheet or parchment paper

Painter's Blue tape. If you want work with stripes or fussy cut your fabric

Cotton Fabric: For the outside of the bowl:1 piece 20" x 20"

                           For the inside of the bowl : 1 piece 20" x 20" or several       

                           smaller pieces depending of the design you chose.

I will be available 1/2 hour before class to help with fabric selection

General quilting supplies:

-Cutting mat 24" x 24" or larger-Quilter's ruler 6 1/2" x 24"/
-Rotary cutter and blade
-Pencil

-Fabric Grippers by Nifty Notions. You just need 2 for the template
