This workshop is for you if you are making your own clothes, but the end product still doesn’t fit correctly. We will explore what to look for in relation to the fit of a garment, such as balance and proportion, and learn how you can correct your pattern. Each student must bring a garment (or muslin) that they have made to try on in class along with their commercial pattern. Catherine will review each garment on the student (be prepared to try your garment on in class) and discuss how it needs to be corrected. Then she will teach each student how to make that correction on their pattern. Bring up to 2 garments and the accompanying patterns.* This is a small class and limited to 4 students.
*If you have any questions about what type of garments to bring, please contact Catherine at catherine@sewright.com
