As everybody’s handwriting style is unique, so is your free motion quilting.  Laurie will assist you in developing your special style of free motion quilting.  During this session, you will be given exercises to get you comfortable in sewing without restraints.  This is a liberating way of doing free motion.  The instructor will provide participants with a kit valued at $30  that will include thread, fabric, and batting.

 SUPPLY LIST

• Sewing machine in good working order
• Marking pens : chalk and washable marking pen
• Pen or pencil
• Paper 8 ½” x 11” (unlined) 3 or 4 sheets
• Snips for cutting threads
• Darning Foot or Free Motion Foot designed for your sewing own machine.   
• Machingers or another type of sewing glove
• Sewing machine in good working order
• Cotton Thread that is 50 or 60 weight for the bobbin
• Microtex or Denim Needle size 90
