101: Creating a Beaded Necklace with your Jet Air Serger



In Jet Air serger training, we reviewed how to string beads while serging. Now you’ll have the opportunity to create a dramatic beaded necklace in this hands-on class!

PREPARATION BEFORE CLASS: Begin stringing the beads while the fishing line is attached to the reel. STRING THE 200 BEADS ONTO THE FISHING LINE. DO NOT CUT THE FISHING LINE AS YOU ARE STRINGING THE 200 BEADS ONTO THE LINE!!!!!!! Supplies -Jet Air Serger: Triumph, Ovation,Evolve, Evolution, Imagine -Thread Kit: Included in class registration -Matching Maxilock thread for one needle (not included in the Thread Kit) -Fishing Line: STREN original 4 lb. weight 330 yards in Clear Blue Fluorescent Color (available at Dicks Sporting Goods) -Beads: Quantity of 200 Beads. The distance from the hole to the closest edge should be no more than 3/8”. Beads that are irregularly shaped are a good option. **Option: You can purchase your beads from Mary Ann.
