Solve the mystery of the secret project one new technique at a time! Learn five valuable sewing techniques that work together to reveal your mystery project. Session 1 - Quilting:Learn the ins and outs of great background fills for quilting your next project. BSR Modes, and the Q series will also be featured. Session 2 - Pintucks: Decorative or practical- Enjoy a new twist on a traditional pintuck. Learn how to make corded pintucks vs. regular pintucks and see the difference. Learn how to match your double needle with your pintucking foot. Session 3 - Couching: Learn how fun and easy it is to do couching with your embroidery module! Three one-hour sessions with 15-minute breaks between sessions

Would you like to learn how to do your own hems on your clothes? If so, then you will learn a few basic techniques for hemming using your sewing machine. This class will cover how to sew a blindstitch hem, a jean hem and a rolled hem. We will also demonstrate how to mark a jean/pant hem and answer all of your hemming questions. First you will practice sewing each hem using your machine on cotton fabric and then you will use your new knowledge to hem a garment of your own. Sewing experience is required. If you need a machine for class, please let us know in advance.

Take your sewing to the next level with our Open Level Garment Sewing Class and learn what you want to learn! This class is for you whether you are a beginner sewist ready to start sewing your first garment and don't know how to begin or if you are an intermediate sewist that needs specific help with a project you are working on. Bring in all materials needed for your project as you must work from a commercial pattern. Learn the foundations of sewing in our Beginner Sewing Class by making a reversible tote bag. The class will begin with learning how to operate your sewing machine through the proper threading techniques and then learning how to sew straight seams. From there, we will instruct you on how to lay out your pattern pieces on the fabric, cutting them out and then pinning the pieces together before sewing your tote bag. Class size is limited to 4 students. Machines are available for use during class or you can bring your own.
