Serger
Sergers have so many capabilities beyond finishing seams! With additional serger accessories we can expand its applications to be used for zipper insertions, garment work, home decor, and more. In this class we will use 5 different feet doing 8 different techniques. You will leave with samples to as a reference. We will be exploring the blind hem foot, elastic foot, beading foot, ruffling foot and piping foot. * This class is for Bernina and Baby Lock serger owners.

Create this dynamic, versatile "Serger Mesh Tote" designed by Joan Friedrich! This project showcases a variety of different techniques using a combination of overlock and coverstitch settings. MaryAnn will take you through the steps of adjusting your serger settings and serger feet to complete this tote in three sessions. In order to take this class, your serger must have overlock and coverstitch capabilities with "jet air/air threading" systems. CLASS POLICY
Our classes and events require planning and preparation and often includes ordering materials and supplies, scheduling staff and teachers, and allocating space which is contingent on the total number of students who register for a class. When students request cancellations or reschedule at the last minute, it affects all of the above in addition to taking away a spot from someone who wanted to take the class.
In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work. If you are unable to attend a class at the last minute, consider offering the spot to a friend!
If you register for an event or class with a guest educator, your class fee is nonrefundable.
If you register for a private lesson, your class fee is nonrefundable.
