Take the Fear Out of Free Motion With Laurie Liang
As everybody’s handwriting style is unique, so is your free motion quilting. Laurie will assist you in developing your special style of free motion quilting. During this session, you will be given exercises to get you comfortable in sewing without restraints. This is a liberating way of doing free motion. The instructor will provide participants with a kit that will include thread, fabric, and batting.

Requirements:
-Sewing machine in good working order
-Darning foot or Free Motion Spring Foot
-90/14 Quilting, Topstitch, or Jeans needle
-Water Erasable Marking pen
-Marking chalk: Pounce Chalk is recommended with a small foam brush
-Pen or pencil
-Paper 8 1/2" x 11"(unlined) 3 or 4 sheets
-Cotton 50 weight sewing thread
-60 weight bobbin thread- we will discuss during the class
-Snips for cutting threads
-Machingers or comparable sewing machine gloves
-Optional secondary thread stand
