Mini Mosaic Quilts with Laurie Liang
As a result of March's Quilt Adventure, Laurie is running a Hands-On class where you can create a mini mosaic quilt of your own choosing.Laurie saw these wonderful mosaic-like quilts at Quilt Market in Houston last Fall. The creator, Cheryl Lynch was inspired by ancient and contemporary mosaics she discovered on her travels to Israel. Laurie will share her technique and patterns in this workshop. Be careful because they are addictive!

Mini mosaic Cutting Guide
Various 2" squares of fabric to cut into fabric tiles
An egg carton, small dishes, or plastic bags to place your various fabric tiles once cut
Tweezers
Steam-a-seam 2
1/2 yard Tulle
Fat quarter of fabric for your"grout"
18" x 20" foam board or corrugated cardboard
The second session will require a sewing machine on good working order.
Basic sewing supplies- scissors, thread, seam ripper
