Requirements:

General Supplies -Scissor or rotary cutter -Marking pencil -18" ruler to draw straight lines -Piecing thread -Sewing machine in working order with 1/4" foot or self made 1/4" guide -General purpose foot for 1/2" seam construction -Fabric -34 pcs fabric cut to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" (ie 1/2 quantity red, 1/2 quantity green or scrappy holiday combination)( This will make 1 decorative front, double quantity for same design on front and back. Alternate to piece back of stocking bring coordinating fabric at least 14 x 24 -Bring at least 12 x 24 pc of coordinating fabric for cuff and hanging loop -Decorative trim 24" (optional) -Interfacing and Batting -Non woven fusible - light weight (20 x 27 ) for 1 sided design, double quantity if stocking design is same front & back, or yardage Cotton quilt batting - 2 pcs 14 x 24 or equivalent yardage *Embroidery options to be discussed but not accomplished in class
