We have had many requests over the years about how to work with a variety of zippers.  Here is your opportunity to learn the basics on how to work with and use some of the most popular zippers in fashion and in home decoration. The types and techniques of installing zippers are myriad. During this session our seasoned sewing expert, Ruth Cabble, will guide you through the process of:

• Creating an exposed slot zipper for bags and totes
• Fashioning a garment using a separating zipper.
• Discussing how to create a centered back zipper with an all purpose zipper.
•  Shortening a zipper using a metal zipper

• Please bring your basic sewing supplies: glass head pins, seam ripper, Mettler polyester thread, marking pen,and a seam ripper

• Please bring your SEWING MACHINE in good working order.
